NEW MUSIC MONDAYS #6: Yeah, I know it's Tuesday...
It's been all craziness around here between cheerleading, working at Shore and getting the vlogs done. Luckily, I've had a few weeks to compile some new music and have some awesome choices. I feel like I say this every time, but music is deeply important to my life. I get truly inspired by great new music in my life. I'm trying to send y'all a little of the inspiration too. "Nerve" The Story So Far
Starting off the list this week with some good friends of ours. Danny met these guys on Warped Tour last summer and fell in bro love with them immediately. They're amazing live and I am looking forward to getting their second album as soon as it is out in May... I'll be one of the first to get it because I pre-ordered it on iTunes. I suggest you all do the same!
"Want to Want Me" Jason Derulo
This week's guilty pleasure award goes to JAYYYYYSONNN DEEEERUUULO (you have to always sing it like he does in all of his songs).
"It Must Have Been Love" Kathleen Edwards
And straight from guilty pleasure we move to my favorite cover song of the week. My first year taking dance, I was 3 or 4, the older girls at my dance studio did a dance to the original version of this song and I thought it was so beautiful. No idea how the dance went, but the song lives on as one of my faves. Glad to hear it redone so well.
"Something Good" Dead Sara
That voice though. There is something so beautiful about a controled rasp.
"Red Lips" GTA
I have to wear a red lip for like every cheerleading event I have so I feel a connection towards this song. Plus it's catchy.
"21" Veteran
Brianna, the girl who does my hair for Bucs Cheerleading, has a boyfriend in a band too! This is his newest EP. You can also download the full version of the EP (for free!!!) here. I like their sound and I think it's because it's a litte reminiscent of one of my faves, Valencia. Check it out and give them some love :)

I like how that the album cover has nipples.

It's just so dang catchy.
"Bloodstream" Ed Sheeran
I love me some Ed Sheeran. This song has more of an electronic sound and I like it.
"Bitch Better Have My Money" Rihanna
Oh my Rih. I love the little hood coming out. I know she grew up in Barbados, which is a little rougher, in parts, than good ole Bradenton, FL, but I like to think I'm just about as hood as Rih. I mean, I do have a thug life tattoo.
